Subscription, sleep function

Hello Fred,
I can understand the inconvenience caused. I am sure we will be able to fix this together. We are here to help you, we work around the clock. From your account, I see that you have purchased AVG TuneUp - Unlimited. This product does not require a license number for activation, as it is activated using your AVG MyAccount that was created during your purchase. Please be informed that if you're clicking sleep button then your application/programs will get disabled until you awake/undo the AVG PC TuneUp changes (you can put the programs in sleep which you're not going to use in future). In this case, I request you to undo the AVG PC TuneUp changes at first (open AVG PC Tuneup > Rescue center > undo > select disabled programs > restore), reboot your computer once and check if the all application are working as before. 1. Used free version, liked it, paid for subscription, dashboard shows days countdown end of trial.  I have opened and confirmed account, confirmed subscription which expires August 2018.  Spend an hour reading help dialog, searching around site.  Navigation is difficult and confusing, clicking on article URLs for help has yielded blank pages sometimes,  All very unhelpful and disappointing.   Searching for answers ends up being aimless  wandering.

    2) AVG proposed use of sleep function, I accepted to free up resources.  Recently message about an app being awakened no longer shows coming or going from app.  Using our email Thunderbird to send attachment (MS Word document, for example), double clicking on the document name to check if it is right document we wanted to attach yields error message "word command could not be executed."  Now we have to go to MS word short cut, open it, then return to Thunderbird, double click attachment, and now MS Word is apparently "awakened" but we had to do it manually.
Searched for help on "sleep" function.  Nothing found after 15 minutes.

    What to do?

Comment as a new user: Sorry folks, your instructions, navigation, and sources of information need to be MUCH better for the single home user.  I am a retired engineer, 40 years on computers, and I am flummoxed by  your help site and functions.  You will have to do better for those of us willing to search and self help, or I am outta here!

After that, I request you to uninstall the AVG PC TuneUp program (which you have installed and unable to activate) from the control panel > program and features and follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Performance) to download/install/activate AVG TuneUp - Unlimited (which you have purchased).
Best regards,
Alok. (2/2)
