Hello, so I've got a suggestion on a feature that might be added in AVG, and I want to know what you guys think of this. People like me who have many hard drives and do want to do a root-kit scan on them it takes a long time. So I've came up with an idea, that AVG would on the first rootkit scan basically check all files and store their hashes with a path to them in a database (doesn't matter where to store them, just somewhere secure so no-one can edit it) and when you would do another rootkit scan it would go through all the files and check if they exist in the database;
a) if they do: avg would check their hash with the hash in database. If the file's hash would be different than in the database (this means the file has changed) avg would scan it again, if not avg would skip it.
b) if they don't avg would scan them.
This way AVG will scan only new or modified files. Let me guys know what you think of this

Best Regards - Martin.
