Support contact

Why is trying to contact support almost impossible. I have tried all morning to receive answers to problems but so far unsuccessfully. I am told that I do not have an account, but I have. I am told that there is no record of my email account, but its been there for at least 3 years. I am told that I do not have a product with AVG, but I have had 3 computers paid for at least 3 years. I have tried so far unsuccessfully to retrieve my latest licence number the last three digits of which are obscure. On looking it up on the main program these digits are covered up with a note to send to notepad or something similar. I have been on the computer for at least 3 hours and getting no where. I have sent several emails to addresses on emails received earlier e.g. info@avg.com.au but these have been returned as unavailable. Why is it so hard to find a simple telephone number or email address?
