This afternoon I received a phone call from this number 909-352-0573. The person identified himself as a technician from AVG CloudCare. He called me by my first name and wanted to discuss something about that program. I do not have CloudCare, nor did the caller ID have the word AVG in it.
I hung up immediately. I am assuming this is a scam similar to the Microsoft and Dell scams that I have received, wanting to get into my computer. I generally tell those folks that if they want to clean my windows I am glad because I have 200 of them and they are dirty. They hang up immediately. Is my assumption correct? Thanks so much.
Thank you so much. I assumed that it was a scam. Thank you so much for verifying that. Have a wonderful holiday season.
