After trying this and if you end up with no wireless networks nearby then what you followed was right. I would suggest you to try in some places where you have public wireless network providers (shopping mall) etc.

"Step 1 – Launch the command line. To do that, click on the Start orb, go to „All ProgramsAccessories“ and click on „Command Prompt“.

I live in an estate with house close by, but when I have used the command line, it is my connection only that shows up. I find that strange. Am I doing something wrong
