Phil, you do not have an option to report them. Previous representative was trying to explain how AVG deals with spam and suspicious emails. If you are using an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, AVG will scan all the incoming emails, attachments and blocks any malicious content is detected. AVG Anti Spam feature will mark the spam emails and move them to Junk folder.
