Svchost.exe but

I also faced this same situation as you today and I really don't know how to solve it

Hi Caleb,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please ensure that the AVG program on your computer has the latest patches applied to it.
To do so : Open AVG Internet Security - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions at bottom right corner - Restart on successful update.

What is this? It keeps popping up every 5-20 minutes. Thanks for any help!

They are updated, but I still get the same alert popping up every 5-20 minutes. Could this be a new windows file getting confused for malware?

Thank you.

I tried this - but it makes no difference. Is this not just a mistake being made by AVG? Because the URL is where we all get our Windows Updates from.
I get similar message where the URL is prefixed with 1, 2 or 3
This may be a false detection by AVG, or perhaps Microsoft is actually trying to deliver malware...?
