Hello Paul. I am sorry to hear this. I request you to delete all unwanted program from your control panel and then please remove all unwanted extension from browser. Thank you
I think I have now managed it but it is very difficult because if you use multiple browsers (firefox / IE etc) and you remove it from one (from search engines, add ins / extensions), as soon as you go into the other browser (to remove it), before you can deactivate it, it has invaded the one you have just cleaned! I did it by uninstalling it then cleaning the directory and all its data, man ually removing it from the registry, then removing it from a browser, then hijacking the browser by renaming its directory, repeating this for all browsers, then renaming them all back!
My original point still stands though, why does not AVG detect it? IT SHOULD!
Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I seem to be having loads of virus related issues! The latest one is sweet-page that is constantly redirecting my firefox searches, installing adware and now starting to interfer with IMAP email. I cannot get rid of it and I understand its been around now for nearly 2 years so why doesn't AVG detect it and remove it, that's what we pay it for!

Hello Paul, yes you asked a valid question. AVG can detect and remove the malware and adware programs but however there are numerous number of malware programs evolving day by day so there are chances of AVG program in failing to detect it. Getting the samples of that program from our customers will help us to update our database. I would request you to submit the sample via http://www.avg.com/submit-sample . For your issue I would request you to try resetting of all your browsers, if the issue still persists please do let us know. Thank you.
