How do I switch from a full scan to a Performance Scan while running a full scan?I'm in the middle of a full scan and just found out that I can go to a Performance Scan to clear up my problems, but how do I do that? I request you to not share the email address or any personal details on a forum.
When you initiate a scan from AVG Antivirus interface it involves three stages.
First is to check for browser add-ons, second is regular virus scan and the third one is for finding performance issues on your PC.
The performance scan will appear only when there is no AVG PC TuneUp program installed on your PC.
If you would like to perform performance scan then you have to complete the first two stages of scan in antivirus.
The performance issues found on antivirus scan progress cannot be fixed as it will ask you to purchase license for PC TuneUp.
To check and fix performance issues, you can install trial of (AVG PC TuneUp) or purchase the license for it.
