Synergy Being Blocked

Hi

I cannot get synergy to run without turning off the avg firewall. I have attempted to set up a custom rule but it is not working. Any help with what settings to configure would be great. 

Just a note it is appearing as an approved app.

I'm having exactly the same issues - Synergy runs just fine with the firewall turned off but will not connect once it's switched back on. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It's Windows 10. I do not receive a block message. Synergy is a mouse and keyboard sharing application. When attempting to connect from the secondary machine the connection constantly times out and I get no block on the controlling PC. When I deactivate the firewall on the controlling PC the software instantly works.
