We request you to open AVG Internet Security program window and click on "Web & Email" component.
Turn off web shield using the slider icon and try to access the sites through your browser.

Yes my computer is on and it is connected to the internet at all times.
Added note I had my local tech guy( my husband) look at this and he says the name server was configured wrong and fixed that. Not sure why or how that affects this error . Here's the screen shot of the error.
