System, Microsoft Corporation internet access

Hello Kajus,

We appreciate your query and would like to get few information for providing the answer.
Could you provide the screenshot where you choose "allow full internet access" for system.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hello,

I started noticing this after I foolishly removed all of my firewall rules (AVG Internet Security 18.6.3983.371 on Windows 7). I have my firewall set on the ask option and if I allow full internet access to System (the only word written in most sections of enhanced firewall question, except some, most notably for company, which reads Microsoft Corporation), then after turning the computer off and on again, everything appears to load fine. However, if I close the enhanced firewall question for System instead of allowing access, then during the next start up after logging into Windows, I get a black screen with a moveable cursor and after a while the Asus back up utility window pops up as usual. I am able to see my desktop and everything on it, though, by starting the Task Manager via Ctr+Alt+Delete.

Sorry if my query is rather basic and I am simply being paranoid, but could anyone please help me with this? Should I allow System full network access and should having it or not influence Windows behaviour after logging in?

Thank you,
Kajus

Thank you for the screenshot.
The check box saying "remember my answer" in the prompt is checked and by clicking on Ok, this prompt shouldn't appear after the restart of the PC.
It looks like you have setup the Firewall rules to "ask each time" and that is the reason you are getting the prompt for every restart.
If you set as "auto decide" this prompt will not appear.
However, we have to analyze why the black screen is appearing.
Hence, change the settings to auto-decide and inform the status here.
Open AVG Internet Security interface, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components–>Customize" of Enhanced Firewall.
Click on "Policies" and check whether you have ticked the check boxes saying "Show notifications about newly created allow rules" & "Allow all connections with Friends when in private mode".
