You're the one that said that a Pop-Up will be generated if System Protection is turned off (see your 11/25 reply). What I need is an option that wil let me know when this happens. Just like monitoring for viruses.
Hi Herb,
When AVG Internet Security is installed, your computer is fully protected. If the protection is disabled, you will get a popup reminds you to turn on the protection.
We are uncertain about the Windows system restore and the protection notification. We request you to contact the Windows support regarding this issue.

How can I Get Notified if System Protection/System Restore gets turned off (Windows 10)?
That's fine but I need that pop-up to be generated as an ongoing check to see if the System Restore is turned off. Different conditions or software installs cause it to be disabled and I need a monitor to warn me the same as it would if there was a virus.
Herb
Please accept our apologies for any confusion, Herb. Let us attempt to clarify this for you.
Our colleague has meant to say that if the AVG protection is disabled, then you'll be notified about it. In such cases, you'll receive the notification automatically from AVG program or Security center.
Regarding System restore, our colleague has suggested you to check with Microsoft as our expertise are limited to AVG.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!
