Hello Joel,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. We would request you to boot your system in safe mode and try to uninstall the AVG Program using our AVG remover tool. The following articles explains how ti get your system in safe mode: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reboot-your-computer-into-Safe-Mode
Remover:
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link:  http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.

If your system performs under operating system like 8, 8.1 or 10 please press SHIFT along with F8. Once you have done this a popup window will appear and select last know good configuration. Please select your restore point to do system restore. Thank you.

System Restore Has encountered an unexpected error with an error code of 0x81000203! Any Ideas on How to fix this?  Thanks in advance! BTW This is with AVG Free 2016 installed too…
