System security device

Hello Bev,
Thank you for contacting us. Do you refer User Access Control (UAC) pop ups on your PC when you try to perform an action on your PC?

Hello Bev,
Thank you for the information. Could you please provide us a screen-shot (http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV) of the password request pop-up which will help us in identifying the issue and then assist you further. Thank you.

How do I disable the system security device password request.  I am the only user of this computer and I do not want it poping up every time I access a new screen.  If I had know what a pain it is I would not have set one in the first place.

I'm sorry you've lost me - what do you mean by 'do I refer' I don't do anything - when I try to access my on line banking I get asked for my system password, then when I try to go on ebay I'm asked again. I have my log on password and that's all I want.

Bev, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

It is not my windows log on password that is requestd but the System security password set up with AVG ultimate.  my desk top is using windows 7 but my laptop is on windows 10 but I have been careful not to set up a system password- once bitten…

Bev,
Sorry if our previous query was not clear. We meant to ask you that is it User Access Control window that is popping up requesting you to enter your Windows logon password to access something. Could you let us know which version of Windows OS are you using?
