If AVG is installed currently on your computer, would you be so kind to follow the steps in this article once & let us know the outcome?

Now I will follow the steps of the article.
The file has been renamed from avgStm.sys to avgStm.sy_
and the new link is:
Dropbox
After downloading it, rename it to .sys

I have uninstalled with clear remover and reinstalled.
Again the error occurs so I have no choice but to use other antivirus software.
Please, if you find a solution, let me know since your antivirus is the one I like the most.

Usually I get the blue screen:
SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION failed avgstm.sys
which forces me to reboot the machine.
Is there a solution for this or will i have to look for another antivirus?

Thank you for providing us the info, Julio. Please perform a clean installation of AVG as suggested by our colleague & let us know if it helps.

Yes, I tried with the antivirus removed. Removing AVG no longer displays the blue screen.

As you can see in the screens I sent you, the blue screen shows that there is a fault in the AVGSTM.SYS file, and when AVG is uninstalled that file no longer exists.

Julio, this isn't the expected behavior.
Could you let us know the name of operating system that you have installed?
Please remove AVG Antivirus free as metioned in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Uninstall-AVG-software-Clear-Remover) and then perform Windows update.
Once it is completed, please reinstall AVG Antivirus free as mentioned in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free).
Keep us apprised about the status.
