Hi Nicholas,
To understand the situation better, please provide me a screenshot of the error message whenever it appears.
Here is a link with the steps to create a screenshot: http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot . You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Also, repair your AVG Internet Security and check if there are any issues.
To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:
1. Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
2. Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select AVG Internet Security in the list of programs.
4. Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
5. Select Repair.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
7. Restart your computer.
The AVG system tray icon shows a "!" and says click here for error details. But when I open the app, everything appears to be "green" and fine. Now once I dig a little deeper and click around some more, I was able to produce a screen that gave me an "0x0070652" code, but now I don't see that again. Anyway the app seems to think something is not working correctly, but I cannot tell. I have rebooted and everything else on my computer is working normally. This seems to have started just few days ago when my AVG app underwent a major update. Please advise, thanks
