here is what I found in that list:
AVG 1.21.1.34102 and
AVG protection 2016.7.7227
but the tray icon is gone and this was a fresh install
Here is what else I found today, when I booted the PC and started AVG I was presented the ZEN dashboard, I would also need to find out how I can get the regular dashboard I had with the 2015 version or is that the only one available with the 2016 version??
Running AVG Free 2015 on Win 10 PC and my system tray icon has disappeared and I would like to know how to get it back. I was so used to run everything from there and I find not having it is a real nuisance. Please help. Thank you
Am still expecting a solution to this problem, and starting to get real annoyed with it since it started happening after a live session with tech support to fix another problem where I gave permission to take over my other PC. During this session my AVG free was unisntalled and reinstalled without a solution for the first problem. But what troubles me most is that after the live session my AVG free was left inactive and on the ZEN dashboard and even worse I noticed this issue only a day AFTER where my tray icon was gone and I did not find a way to activate the software. Other attempts to get another live session failed as I could not even get a connection: busy. I then tried to uninstall the product using the W10 control panel uninstall but to no avail and the hour glass kept rolling without any actions.
Had to manually download the uninstaller from your web site, then proceed to remove AVG and a fresh install where the tray icon was still missing and still ended up with the ZEN dashboard when I booted up the next day.
Please review this so that I get a resolution soon. Thank You
