Systemprocess.exe

Hello Popi,

Thanks for waiting patiently. We have checked the file and seems that it is a PUP file (Potentially unwanted programs). I would request you to enable PUP detection in settings and check the status.

To enable it, please open AVG Internet Security > Menu ▸ Settings ▸ General > Under main settings enable the option "Scan for potentially unwanted applications (PUAs)" and check.

If the issue persists, please provide the screenshot of the file which is detected by other Antivirus, to escalate the case.

Hello Popi,

If the file is really a threat, and AVG didn't detect it, then please upload such file to Virus Total https://goo.gl/qVs6zN, click "Upload & Save file "and send back the link of analysis you received  (e.g. https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/e49a831834f8c89929ff6a2e019219d3d53514df0631894caff78fdcd08959da/detection) or SHA-256 hash of the file (e.g. e49a831834f8c89929ff6a2e019219d3d53514df0631894caff78fdcd08959da)

With that information, I'll be able to find the specific file and detection details in our database and escalate to the developers.

Hi, I have the free version of AVG and I found on the internet that the process systemprocess.exe is a virus BUT AVG can't find it! Is there anything I can do, but uninstall AVG and instal other programs that supposedly can find it and remove it?

You are most welcome, Popi!

I can't locate the file, I only see it in task manager, it max's my CPU and on the internet I have found that it is a miner trojan and a hidden file… That's all I know

Popi,

Please right click on the .exe file in task manager and click on "Open file location" to know the location of the systemprocess.exe. Then browse the file location from virus total and upload it.
