We do understand your concern. However, please be informed that after the recent update from AVG, the AVG system tray icon is changed to Zen. You can right click on this icon to open the AVG Protection. If you still have any issue, feel free to contact us.

Systray program icon has disappeared in the recent updates-the one with the right click context menu which I use often-Why? The useless Zen icon showed up at the same time in the recent updates but it is absolutely of no value! My laptop (Win7 64) has both icons after the recent updates but my desktop lost the program icon in the systray-Again Why?
Right clicking on this icon has no context menu and simply opens the useless zen interface which doesn't allow the user to do anything with the antivirus program without having to start the regular program requiring extra and unnecessary clicks. Besides what is the point of zen anyway? Like "normal" people I don't own or use a cell phone but I have 6 working computers that one would put AVG or other computer protection programs on individually as needed. So the old icon is more useful to all computer users. Please Fix!

William, if you have installed the AVG Protection Free program then you have will have the Zen has its interface. It is our latest Multidevice program and the from the Zen interface the Protection program will work. Without the Zen interface the program will not work. In our recent update, from the system tray right click you will get the AVG Zen interface opened and by clicking on the Protection circle you can get the AVG Protection program dashboard opened up.
