Windows XP, SP3, and AVG Internet Security. Following latest update, the AVG icone no longer appear on the Windows Task-bar, although they are still listed under "previous".
This is a real step backwards - please tell me why, and how I can restore the notification (set to "Always show"
After a month, this issue still persists on all my three computers. You said that you were aware of it and were working on a solution. Please explain why this hasn't been solved, and tell us when it will be.

I am afraid to say it has made no difference, despite it having downloaded some updates @ 21:28 BST tonight

* Tray icon may be missing if you install AVG, then remove it and again install it into different location.
* Tray icon may also be missing if Windows decides not to display it for any reason.
