I am having the same issue.  Windows 10 installed itself into my machine.  On boot-up I refuse to accept it so it back itself our and restored my Windows 7 Pro.  Unfortunately it did something to my AVG TDI driver.  AVG is now complaining the driver is missing.  I followed the instructions on the AVG application to start up DEvice Mamager and update the driver.  Unfortunately I do not recognized any entry under device manager as belonging to AVG TDI.  How do I fix this?

I tried Windows 10 and have returned to Windows 7 -I cannot update the driver for AVG TDI

Avgtdi.sys is a Windows driver. A driver is a small software program that allows your computer to communicate with hardware or connected devices. This means that a driver has direct access to the internals of the operating system, hardware etc.

If you are getting that this file is missing then please reinstall your AVG program using the remover tool.
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
