Trying a different browser, now trying Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox and live chat is still not loading, it's been 15 minutes and the loading circle is still going round.

Now I can understand your situation.
Your device is still updating and got hanged for the protection component.
We request you to log out as admin and then click on the same place where you had the email address and select "leave this Zen network". Again click on the same place and log into your Zen as admin.
Your device issue should get fixed.
On your husband device the protection component shows that it is going to expire today.
So please try following the same procedure on this PC and check whether the PRO version gets installed.
If not please completely reinstall all the AVG program from his PC and install the AVG protection again.
Do let us know the status of this.

We have two computers one is covered by AVG and the laptop is not, my question is to ad the laptop do you get a discount. I am having trouble with videos not showing on facebook. It says problem is with the drivers. What do you do to fix the problem. Thanks

Thanks for your help, worked eventually via major panic when it installed AVG Zen and then failed, but did a restore and it worked without having to do anything else, started up husband's laptop today it installed AVG Zen automatically and is now working OK.

Yes I did use the my account login details on my husbands laptop it shows this as being admin, and the status did not change.

Have you purchased AVG license or AVG for Unlimited devices? Can you please let me know what AVG program you have bought to assist further with the installation.

In case, you have bought AVG for unlimited devices, you no need to pay any extra. You can just install AVG directly on your other device using your AVG Myaccount credentials.
