Please click on the link and follow the steps to fix this issue http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Unlock-a-device-locked-by-AVG-AntiVirus-for-Android. If you still have any issue, you can get connected to our AVG Mobile support.
Please click on the following link ( http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical ) and fill out your details, select as Android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description please completely explain about your issue and finally click on Email option.
Also when filling out your details choose Yes for the Question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" even though you may be using the Free version and fill out necessary details and click on Email option.
The AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

my tecno s5 was locked by avg after i changed the memory card. it it giving me an option for a 4 digit pin which i do not remember setting. and then after three fails it increases the interval better attempts. It is asking me to check my email but there is nothing on my email address.
