Hello Geert,
We are sorry for the delay in responding. Could you please let us know the name of the web browser you used to access the page? Thank you.
I'm using AVG Internet Security (paid), version 2016.0.7357, on a Windows 10 Home Edition PC.
http://www.amtso.org/ is a website that is able to check how well you're protected against all kinds of virusses on your PC.
When I go to this page: Feature Settings Check - Phishing Page Test - AMTSO, I see that among a lot of others, AVG is mentioned as one of the virus scanners that's able to detect phishing pages.
Surprisingly, when I click the test link on that page, I can open the "phishing" web page without even being noted that this is a "phishing" web page.
How come? AVG is one of the applications that should interscept this, but it doesn'tâĤ That worries me a bit. How about the other tests? Should I start to fear that my protection through AVG is weak?
Hello Geert,

Geert,
Thank you for the information.
We checked that page from our end. We suspect something is wrong with that page. Because this page is not even detected by Google's protection in Chrome. So there is no need to worry on that.
Please feel free to get back to us for any issues with AVG.
Thank you.
Hi Rajarajan,
I've used FF 44.0 for this test.
