That activation code didn't work

Hello,

I currently have a multi-device subscription (10 devices) to AVG Ultimate. When I try to activate it on my iPad with the activation code (purchased offline from Amazon, hence subscription not shown in account online) it says "That activation code didn't work." What do I need to do to activate this on my iPad?
​​​​​​The activation code has worked on my Windows PC and my Android mobile. I've an active subscription of AVG Ultimate running in my mobile and PC. 
I do not understand why the same activation code is not working in iOS.
