Sorry to hear that. Please repair AVG Internet Security/Protection as mentioned in this article ( http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY ). Then update by going to AVG->Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Update option and update it.
If the issue persists, please share the screenshot of AVG user interface to assist further.

over the last 2 weeks my AVG internet security program (version 17.4.3014) doesnt update. Although i get a notification by the program to fix this trouble, when i press the fix button it seems nothing is being done and cant download the necessary updated files. Any ideas and help is most welcomed. thank you
