Alan-
I ran the program and it got all the way to the end and said it failed to install. I got the error code; 0xC0070643 and the discription Event exec_finished.

I was on facebook and clicked like on one of my friends posts and then my screen went blank and it said someting like "casche dump" and then restarted. Now in AVG I am getting the error message "There are no active components".  and it looks like everything is turned off.
I dont know much about computers but can this be fixed?
My AVG was active up until this point.

Hello Josh,
Please run the  AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/us-en/download to reinstall your AVG program. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.

I already have a paid version of avg.

When I click on the AVG downloads page I saw the prompt for my licence number. It found it and put it in. it found me and there are 2 buttons, one is free trial and the other is paid. Since I already paid, if I click that do I need to pay again? If I gave you my VIN# would that help?
