Thanks you for your immediate reply.

I tried to uninstall the software but after a long period of waiting I got the message

“service avg firewall could not be stopped……”

I have parched internet security antivirus for two years.
One year later it stopped working.
 
Every time I open AVG Internet Security I get the message “There are not active components”
and all options Computer – Web Browsing – Identity – Emails – Firewalls displays “unknown”


Furthermore, when I ask AVG for “Scan now” does nothing.
 
My license expires  on 3/11/2015
 
I followed instructions using tools like  AVG_Remover.exe &  AVG_ResetAccess.exe
with no luck.!!!
 
I even tried to uninstall the software and fail
There is no Support from AVG

Hello Alan,
 
Thank you for your help.
It was save me from HD format !!!
 
I download and execute “avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe”  it worked fine.
Afterwards I installed AVG Internet Security 2015
Everything seems to be working right.
