Third Party Redistributables (again)

Hello James. You will have two options as Save and Send the output to AVG. I request you to save and as well click on Send the output to AVG to send the files. If you couldn't find it then please follow the below mentioned instructions:

1) Click the following link (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Uploader_Pro_en.exe) to download the AVG service utility to your computer (we recommend saving it to your Desktop).
2) Double-click the utility to launch it.
3) Choose what files or folders you would like to upload.
4) Enter your email address.
5) Click Send files.
After the file is successfully sent, screen with its name appears. Please inform us that you have uploaded the file under that name.

Please feel free to contact us should you need any further assistance.

Done.  File is sprtstat@ix.netcom.com_05060001.7z.  BTW - you cannot both save and send the file from the same instance of SystemInfo - once you click OK after the save, the program exits.

Although I don't want to, I am about to give up on AVG entirely.

I can install AVG on my 64-bit Win 7 laptop with no issues.

On my 32-bit Win 7 desktop, it simply will not install.  It has done this intermittently back to 2012 but 2015 always give me the 0xC007064C (The installation source for this product is not available) message.

I have followed the directions in the support articles (and forum posts) several times, run AVG remover then followed the instructions, renamed my msvc*.dll files restarted and reinstalled.  Nothing works.  Even running AVG_MSVCR, which I did earlier this year to get it to install, doesn't work - it crashes.  Since there is no other AV software running, I don't suspect it is a conflict.

Seems to me that there is a defect in the installation procedure that has been hanging around for a few years - too back they don't seem to be willing or able to fix it.

I am at a loss as to what to try next.  Guess I'll install Avast until I get something else to work.

Hi Chris,
I would like to let you know that the data has been passed to our developers (AV-7827). Please note that this thread will be updated when further information is required from our team.
Thanks

Hi James,
In order to analyze it please provide us with http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe output (run it after inducing described behavior) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.
Thanks
About once a month, I sit down determined to get this to work.  After a couple of hours of the same thing over and over, I give up and install Avast...which annoys me with all of its popups.  Frustrating!

I finally had a chance to run SysInfo today but it was unable to send the output to you.  It did save it on the FTP server.  File name is sprtstat@ix.netcom.com_03-06-2015_21h-04m.7z.  Any help would be appreciated.
