We're here to help. Please note that AVG Internet Security does not recognize the 3rd party VPN applications. We'd request to apply the below settings in AVG Internet Security on Windows device to stop receiving the ad pop ups.
Open AVG Internet Security, click Menu -> Settings -> General -> Privacy. Uncheck 'Show offers for other AVG products', 'Shows offers for 3rd party products' and click OK to save the settings.
Regarding the pop ups on Android devices, please submit your query to our Android support team as suggested in this link for assistance.
I have AVG Antivirus, and am continually getting messages telling me that I need a VPN. I use PIA VPN already, but the Antivirus App doesn't recognize this. When clicking on the AVG VPN option, it leads to a screen with a box to click saying "Connect to VPN," which leads to payment options for the AVG VPN. Underneath this box is a sentence in blue that looks like a link to another page, which says "VPN connection is made by other app." It isn't a link, however, and I am confused as to what it is there for. Is there some way to stop getting these messages, to get the Antivirus app to recognize my VPN?
This problem is across multiple devices: 2 Androids, 1 Windows laptop.
