I recently renewed my subscription to avg Internet security unlimited. After having trouble with activation I called tech assistance for help. After several operations the tech told me my computer had a virus which meant avg could not be loaded, my ip address was compromised and everything on my computer was at risk. He then told me that for £413 my computer could be fixed. I smelt a very large rat so told him to go away somewhat more rudely. It cost me £19.99 to get another tech to authorise and load avg which he did with no trouble. I would appreciate avg refunding the £19.99 I was forced to spend.
