Hello AVG
This is just to say a very big THANK YOU.
Remore technician worked once again on my laptop on the 21st and down loaded all the relavant files and have come to the conclusion that the detection of the error by AVG was incorrect and this was rectified. Thankfully the update seems to have resolved my problem and have had no pop ups since 21 August 2020.
Thanks once again to the team.
My above reply got posted before I could complete it!!
I have never tried to connect to this website www.aapsis.com !!!
I have AVG internet secutiry with AVG tune up and I have windows10.
I would be grateful if the reply is in a way that someone who is not a computer savvy can follow.
Thanks
Kirti Mehta

Hello AVG
purpose of this note is just to check if there is anything else I need to do?
This morning I had help from AVG technician ( Mr Balakrishnan) through remote connection and looked at the issue. In the end my laptop was restarted. I was informed that a seperate email was being sent to me in case reconnection was not established after the restart of my laptop. I have not received any such email and hense this note. Do i need to take any further action?
To be on the safe side I am going to use Microsoft Edge as my default web broser as was informed that it was some cookie on the Chrome what was the likely issue.
Thanks every one at AVG for the help.

Hello AVG
Last 1 week, I have been getting Threat blocked by AVG. This happens 5-10 times a day. Seems that my laptop is trying to connect to www.aapsis.com to which I have no connection to connect! I think this has happened after opening an email from an old professional contact and noted that it was a spam. All subsequent email from similar address are being as phishing and delated. Have done AVG scanning as advised. All these threats are safely in the quarantine. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Google chrome as well ( not sure why!) any help?
Thanks
We're sorry to know that, Kirti.
