Thank you for all your support and time,

Hello again,
So it seems I'm coming full circle. While tracking down my system's troubles for the past week and half, I'm now at a point that I need to do a clean reboot of my system but I can't seem to disable AVG in my startup folder. I try to access AVG through my desktop and it takes me back to the update AVG box. But it stalls on the "Loading…This shouldn't take long." dialog. I then went to the Repairing AVG page but clicking Uninstall in my Apps & Features doesn't seem to do anything.
Has something been changed since the last update of AVG that would affect Win10 like this?
Thanks again.
Alex
Hello, I have restored Chrome settings to their original defaults...but I had noticed that the pushwhy.com notices had already stopped. My computer then suffered a bluescreen stop (Win10). I got it to restart and I'm trying to update AVG but it's been on the "Loading...This shouldn't take long." dialog for about 15min.
Please advise
Many Thanks
I ran the Scan but that comes up clean. Meanwhile, the dialog pops up every time I close it and it stays on top? Usually, when AVG detects something, it is either quarantined or there is a way to neutralize it. What can I do to resolve this issue please?
Thanks
Alex
The website you receive in the threat popup, is that a trusted website?
Are you getting this popup, while using the browser?
Hi Santhosh,
Thanks for responding.
The pop up has listed my chrome.exe file. Is it finding something wrong in my Chrome.exe?
The popup was constently coming up while Chrome was up, but, sadly, I didn't test to see if it would stop if the browser was shut down.
Is there some where in AVG where I can block the pushwhy.com site?
Also, this morning, my machine wouldn't start up at all. I'm responding to you from my work as I've shut down my home machine for now.
Alex

Thank you.
I also noticed that my Windows Start button (I think that's what it's called…the lower right screen button that looks like the Windows logo) isn't functioning. I LMB and it doesn't open.
Hello John,
We appreciate your efforts. This issue has been fixed in the recent update. Please open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> settings -> Update -> perform both virus and product update , restart your device and check the status.

Alex, we request you to restart your PC and check the status.
If AVG Internet Security doesn't update, perform repair of the program as mentioned in this http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY article.
Keep us posted.
I keep getting the same popup message and can't get rid of it. It only happens when Chrome is running. Here is a screen shot.
Yes, we need to check if "Google Chrome" is causing this issue.
Please reset "Google Chrome" browser installed on your computer and check if that fix this pop-up issue.
If the issue persists, please let us know and we will assist you further.
