I too have started to experience this same issue.
Running a browser scan the % complete stuck at 75 and it ya been that way for over 24 hours. Internet browse can no longer get thru as I just get this pop up and it shows connection aborted. Happens even trying to connect to google.
Any resolutions yet?

Threat secure pop up shows it safely aborted connection on billyjons.net The popup will not go away and it pops back up when I go to my browser. How do I get rid of this.

The path of this threat detection will be usually found on Chrome browser.
Let us reset Google chrome browser and check whether this threat detection popup appears.
Refer this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Reset-browser) and perform the reset of Chrome browser.

I have exact same issue, every page I go onto or mainly on game sites, I get same pop up, annoying as, it was a different site a day ago, now last 24 to 36 hours it's been this one
