Hello Julian,
I am sorry to hear that. This threat detection seems to be a false positive. I suggest you to run AVG repair(avgclick.me/RepairAVG) and check if that stops this pop-up regarding the detection of Outlook.exe. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.
Hello,
Yesterday I began receiving constant popups from AVG of "Threat secured. Java:Malware-gen [Trj] in… 470690809|org\hack\Main$N4570_.class…Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"
These popups are the same except for the last 4 numerical digits changing each time.
I have just changed over to BT fibre from my original BT slow connection. Not sure if this has a bearing on the problem.
Is this a constant attack or is the AVG seeing Outlook as a problem due to an update conflict etc?
This is causing a constant headache. Can anyone help to resolve this issue please?
Many thanks.
