I have looked at various and many peoples requests for an answer to get rid of the irritating, annoying and downright intrusive warning pop up that keeps appearing on my screen every few minutes from AVG. It is obvious from what I have read so far that AVG helpers have no idea how to get rid of these pop ups. They are not a legitimate warning of a threat !! They are an annoying advertising scam from AVG to get users to think that their computer is under threat. My computer is safe and not under any threat but users will panic and buy all their security products in a bid to ensure their computer is safe? Oh dear, quess what, another one just popped up in the middle of my screen when I was writing this. I am no computer expert, but you don't need to be to see through this psychological game they're playing. I'll send you a picture if I can, as I said I'm not a computer expert but I know a trick when I see one.
