I recently received an e-mail apparently from my own e-mail address that claimed to have infected my PC with the Njrat virus which gives him total access and control of my PC. He requested that i pay 900 GBP to his bitcoin account else he would cause harm… The following AVG products are active omn my computer, Antitrack; Internet Security; Secure VPN for Windows; Driver Updater and Tune-up. Can I asuem taht these products would have dealt with the NJrat virus if it was loaded and that what I have received is a scam that relies on frightening people to pay without actually having the ability to implment teh threat.
