Hello Terry,
I apologize for the inconvenience. To analyze the issue further, I need to submit your concern to our senior technicians along with other diagnostic logs along with the threat detection popup screenshot. I have sent you an email with steps on how to collect and upload the data required for analyzing your issue. Please check your inbox and spam/junk folder as well.
I have been using AVG for years and am familiar with the environment. However, since the newest "AVG Ultimate 2017" environment (in the Internet Security) part of the program, I am no longer able to see any items in my quarantine after a threat has been detected.
About 5 times, a threat has been detected while browsing online and the 'AVG alert' box states that the threat "WILL BE ADDED TO QUARANTINE". However, NOT ONCE has an item shown up in the quarantine. When I open the Quarantine, it says "No nasty files here! Your quarantine is empty". So, where did the threats which were supposed to be quarantined go? Any ideas on how to fix this?
I also don't see any items showing up or detailed scan results, but my understanding is that AVG removed that feature and are taking their sweet time adding it back.
Terry, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
