I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please try to to disable scanning of e-mails using SSL encryption "AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > uncheck "Scan SSL connections" option".
Spent o er an hour with avg tachs having remote control of my computer and they couldn't fix problem. Uninstalled avg ultimate and that fixed it. Installed again and Sam problem. Uninstalled again for good.

I am sorry to hear this. Have you followed the steps to provided in previous post and checked if it works? If not, please reinstall AVG Ultimate and try to to disable scanning of e-mails using SSL encryption "AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > uncheck "Scan SSL connections" option" and let us know the status of the issue. So that we will check and assist further.

I cannot receive emails either and have disabled my email protection but still now luck
