Thunderbird email

I am using Free Version .
With email shield active I cannot send emails but I can send. If I turn it off, all is OK.

If I disable "Scan outgoing emails" I can send emails and receive emails but they will not Save.
If I disable "Scan inbound emails" they will save.

Any help much appreciated.
