Tmp.vbe (virus?)

AVG Guru

I have sent the GMER results as instructed. The reference is pietpos2006@yahoo.co.uk_03121303.7z (mailto:pietpos2006@yahoo.co.uk_03121303.7z). I searced in vain to get an email address for AVG. How do I send the Resident Shield Results? I tried to copy and paste but it exceeds the limitation of this tool.

Petrus, In order to analyze it please provide AVG with GMER (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/GMER-Scan-Result/) and AVG scan result export (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/AVG-scan-result-export/).

Petrus, As per the GMER instructions you can send the AVG scan result export by using the AVG FTP server.

I receive two warnings that AVG's resident shield detected a virus every time I restart my laptop. The object name is c:\Users\Laptop\AppData\Local\Temp\tmp.vbe and the process name is C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe on the report. For some reason my laptop refuse to execute a restore and I tried in vain to see the hidden files. I cannot get rid of these files. Is this really a virus? Is there anybody who experienced a similar problem that can advise me what to do. Thanks.
