Hi, It has been straightened out!!  I got rid of the pop up, and I can't really tell you how.  I started with the screen shot, which I had trouble sending to you.  Let me tell you first, that I'm 77years old and very computer illiterate, but sometimes I surprise myself.  I just followed a lot of different instructions, which finally worked, and the pop up is gone.  So, I want to thank you very much for getting me started on getting rid of the pop up.   It was successful!!  Thanks again

As we're uncertain about the exact pop up that you receive, would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of it for better clarity?
Also, let us know when do you receive the pop up. Is it while startup or browsing?

I have a security company who seems to think I signed on for a trial subscription, which I did not.  The name of this is "TOTAL AV".  They have an ad on my screen right now telling me they detected a THREAT.  If I press OK, which is on this screen, I believe I'll have a problem.  There is no way I know to get this off.  It's blocking is very disruptive to me. I need help to rid this.  Thanks
