We are sorry that you are unable to install AVG. We will help you with this concern.  We request you to completely uninstall AVG using the AVG Remover tool and install it again.
1. 2. Select the name of the AVG Program that you want to remove.
3. Your system will be restarted and AVG will be removed.
4. After the restart, delete the AVG Remover folder from C drive.

My system is (was!) using the 2014 version of System Protection. Recently it has ceased to work and will not open at all. I tried to encourage it to self-repair using the automatic function but it can't do that either and produces this:-

Error code: 0xE0010002
Description: Event exec_finished

It is saying that there is a problem during initialisation.
Any ideas please?
Can I download the new version (2014 is no longer listed on the options), but use my old licence number?

  1. You have purchased AVG Internet Security. Then, install AVG Internet security (2016 version) using the below link ( http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Internet_Security_742.exe ) and use the license number that has been renewed recently.
