Hello Steve,
Please follow the instructions on the article http://avgclick.me/TrackingCookies to know more about the tracking cookies and the steps on how to avoid it.
Thank you for your understanding.
My AVG is constantly finding cookies and tracking software. I'm scanning the computer everyday now and it's finding 15-20 problems everyday. They include Smartadserver, cookiemediaplex, tribalfusion, webtrendslive, etc. AVG deletes them, but they're all back the next day. Is there a way to end all this? Do I need to be concerned? Thanks!
Hello Steve,
In our article the first line is clearly mentioned as "Tracking cookies are not viruses or malicious code"
Tracking cookies are not a threat or malicious files.

Thank you for the reply. The AVG description of 'tribalfusion' reads, "Tracking Cookie Tribalfusion is a potential threat. Threats, when malicious, can be used to interfere with the normal operation of a computer, gather personal information or allow a hacker to access the device remotely without the user's consent."
This sounds a little more serious than the everyday cookie. Am I wrong?
