I use a web site called Feeling surf.fr to bring my blog additional traffic. This site has an App and from time to time the App get thrown away by AVG or Defender. (I have AVG firewall on not Defender)
Usually this happens after an update of AVG or Windows. I have tried looking through all the AVG settings to make sure the feeling surf App in on the safe list.
When the App gets thrown away I have to download again when I open the App for the first time I get a warning message from Defender not AVG?
Internet security is a very useful tool but in my opinion AVG and others have become far too complicated and confusing to navigate (perhaps to justify the price?)
Good software should be useful, easy to understand easy to navigate.
I want to feel in control of my software not beholding to it and feeling scared to change any settings.
AVG is not alone in being created by an ego maniac that has little thought for the user that pays their wages.
