Neil, Have you removed AVG from your old laptop?.. Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/LicenseTransfer). Also a correct product key consists of 6 x 5 characters. If your product key does not seem to be correct or complete, you can retrieve it at (http://www.avg.com/lost).

I want to transfer my AVG anti virus from old Laptop to new.  I have entered license no in the box of new downloaded AVG software, but box won´t accept my license no saying it is invalid. But existing license does not expire until 2016. How do I get software to accept my license number?
