Transfer coverage from a disused computer to a new Mac book.?

Frances,

Sorry for the trouble, I see that you had AVG Internet Security (2 computers) earlier and upgraded into AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) recently. You can install this Unlimited version on multiple Windows and Android devices. For Mac, the only protection program we provide is AVG Antivirus free for Mac.

Yes, you have purchased AVG Internet Security (2 computers) on 2017.9.9 which is valid till 2018.9.24. If you renewed and upgraded into Unlimited for $99.99, this product will be valid till 2019.9.24. Here, current validity will get merged  with new purchase. Since this offer has been declined, support helped you to upgrade into Unlimited with free of cost and is valid till 2018.9.24.

Thank you for your understanding, feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

I just called AVG tech support number to find out if I could transfer the coverage that I have paid, for one of my computers(no longer in use) to my new MacBook, recently purchased. I specifically asked if I needed to cancel the one computer not used any more in order to add my new one. I was told I could have as many as I wanted and it wouldn't matter. I am currently being charged for 2 computers and paid my subscription last September 2017 for $89.99, so I thought it would matter since I am paying for 2 and don't want to be charged for a third when I only have 2. At the end of the tech session I was presented with a bill for $99.99 for a subscription for my coverage. This NOT what I was asking to do…!!
When I asked to speak to a Canadian representative I was told that she was unable to transfer me to another agent but she could get me in touch with home support. She also said she was not trained in Mac products so couldn't really help…!! What good is that ?
This very annoying and I am tempted to cancel my subscription altogether.
Please advise.
Thankyou.
Frances Ziober.
