I installed AVG protection on my new lap top computer and I never got the opportunity to enter in my license number. How do I know my computer is protected with my current subscription and not the free trial version. I thought I was following all the steps for transferring it to a new computer.

Sorry to know that. I can see that you have purchased AVG Internet Security (1 computer). Please check if you have installed AVG Protection (zen product) or AVG Internet Security. If you have installed AVG Internet Security, please follow these steps to activate ( http://avgread.me/1bsLsmy ) it using your license number. If you have installed AVG protection, please uninstall it ( http://avgread.me/1PcxDs2 ) and install AVG Internet Security ( http://avgread.me/1DXPL5z ) in your computer to get this issue fixed. To know if AVG is activated, please click on the Support tab present at the top right corner of AVG and check the expiry date on that screen.
