Transferring AVG to a new laptop

Go to Control Panel -> Programs and features -> Uninstall -> uninstall AVG Internet Security from old device and then refer this article:
http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection to install AVG Internet Security on new device. We are here if you need any help.

I have recently purchased a new laptop. and want to put AVG on it I pay by auto renew and just want to transfer it over.
I have created an account but of course my AVG does not show because it was on my old laptop.
Any ideas please?
